A historian of anarchism and one of the clearest explainers working on the internet today, Baker writes on her blog and films on her channel about what anarchists actually argued, quoting the primary texts instead of the slogans. Her book Means and Ends reconstructs how the movement's disagreements about strategy were really disagreements about what a free society is. She has brought a scholarly standard to an audience the academy never reached.
